Jazz Combo Students:


This year you will need to obtain your own music book.  You will be expected to bring that book to all rehearsals and performances.

You will need to purchase The Real Book volume 1 6th Edition published by Hal Leonard (cost around $50) if you are in one of these combos:


-Ray Aldridge’s Tuesday 4pm Jazz Combo
-Abel Cross’ Wednesday 5pm Jazz Combo
-Eric Dunan’s Thursday 4pm Jazz Combo
-Eric Dunan’s Friday 4pm Jazz Combo

You will need to purchase The Real Easy Book Volume 1 published by Sher Music Company (cost around $30) if you are in one of these combos:

-Eric Dunan Wednesday 4pm Jazz Combo

-Eric Dunan Tuesday 5pm Introduction to Jazz Improvisation Class

Drummers, guitarists, pianists, flute players will need to purchase the C Treble Clef Real Book or C Treble Clef Real Easy Book depending on which combo.  

Trombonists and bass players will need to get the Bass Clef Real Book or Bass Clef Real Easy Book.  

Alto Saxophonists will need to get the Eb Real Book or Eb Real Easy Book  

Trumpet players, clarinetists,  and tenor sax players will need to get the Bb Real Book or Bb Real Easy Book.
